The Mexican government has closed Guadalupe Island for the remainder of 2022, forcing operators to cancel trips for this year.
While it is disheartening to learn there will be no great white shark cage diving trips this season, we can only hope that those in charge of the island choose to protect and learn from her ocean inhabitants, and that they represent us well until we are able to return.
Be A Shark is in the process of moving all 2022 guests to 2023. We’ve added additional trips and are taking deposits to hold spots for 2023. If you’re interested in joining us next year, contact us.
Additionally, Be A Shark is adding additional shark dive experiences in 2023. Snorkel or free dive with mako and blue sharks, swim with multitudes of mobulas, and, if we’re lucky, we may find a blue whale or an orca pod. We’re also hoping to spend some time in the water with American Saltwater Crocodiles. Message for more information.
