Nikki Brant

Known for her “always a solution” brand of optimism, Be A Shark co-founder and trip guide Nikki Brant is your pre-trip contact. As a female and solo traveler with a background in corporate event planning, Nikki believes the best adventures are the ones you share with others, and that showing people a more realistic side of sharks is the best job on the planet. Nikki moved to Cabo San Lucas early in 2022. She is currently learning Spanish, avidly freediving, and constantly adding new animals to the list of creatures she’s seen since arriving in Baja.

Euan Rannachan

Hollywood portrays big animals as dangerous and terrifying because that sells tickets. It is my goal to show the other side of apex predators through my photos and videos. A lot of people’s reaction is fear, but also intrigue. I hope my images convey just how beautiful these misunderstood creatures can be. Be A Shark trips are the experience of a lifetime and it’s an honor to see the rewiring which occurs when a human faces their fears and realizes they can do so much more than they ever imagined.

Pre-trip Preparation

From our online video library containing how-to clips on everything from underwater photography to dive techniques, to our one-on-one pre-trip consultations with our clients, we make sure you’re as prepared as possible for your adventure.

Creativity

Hands-on photography assistance from some of the most recognizable shark photographers in the business. Either Euan or Harry (or both) will be onboard your trip to answer questions and help you create photos and videos you can be proud of. We also offer pre-trip consultations and training courses to our guests.

Expertise

Educational sessions from certified specialists about animals we may encounter during our trips.
