Be Prepared.
Paperwork and Passport
All guests must be in possession of a valid passport and will be asked to submit a copy of their passport prior to the trip departure date.
All guests are expected to complete the necessary forms within two weeks of booking. Forms include:
BeAShark Waiver: https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/w/617854599e5ee/web/
Pacific Fleet Waiver (provided after Be A Shark Waiver is submitted)
Dive Insurance and Trip Insurance
Dive Insurance is REQUIRED by the dive vessel for all passengers who use the shark cages. A copy of the dive insurance policy must be submitted prior to the trip departure date. Purchase basic dive insurance at one of the following sites:
https://www.diversalertnetwork.org/insurance/dive/
https://diveassure.com/en/home/#
Be A Shark LLC and SolmarV LLC strongly recommend all guests purchase Travel Insurance as the Solmar will not issue a refund if our trip is delayed or cancelled due to weather or a mechanical issue. Some travel insurance providers, such as RoamRight and the World Nomads Explorer Plan, may also contain dive insurance, so be sure to read the fine print.
